Necroclock was a GameJam project between colleagues that took place for two months. Within that time frame, we created a story about a dystopian world where a zombie apocalypse survivor was rummaging through an abandoned building for supplies. For this personal project, I was tasked with working on the animations and rebuilding our locomotion to handle the multiple commands the player would be enacting.
My Objective
For this project, me and a small team decided to work on a Game Jam to help build our portfolios. I was late to join, but was quickly tasked with working in Player Animations. This included working in the Locomotion's, and creating states from scratch to help make the gameplay feel more fluid.
Character Animation
I was given access to all of the players animations and the player's blueprints in order to begin working on creating the best animations we could deliver within our limited time frame. I was in charge of fixing the players broken locomotion and state machines, but after looking over what was done beforehand, I decided to create a new state machine from scratch.
